Note, though, that KSS-X will keep hold of the remote, even if you switch to another application...

On the move back to coding for msx related stuff I also give a try for iPhone / iPod Touch development.
At the actual state, the sound generation is working fine. At least under Aspen (the iPhone emulator)
However, due to Apple very protective policy it might be hard to upload kss file into them.

Sometimes, even mac users might hate Apple.

"Bus error"

Where can I find the previous version? I just replaced mine before testing it... Crying

That's a shame.
I rebuild KSS-X for 10.4.1 and above.

Here it is : http://www.city-hunter.org/kss-x/binary/KSS%20X.dmg

All features should still be working.

Thanks, Valken! It's working perfectly now on 10.4.11.

If you don't mind, I would like to:

1) Suggest some features:

- Drag-n-drop from Finder
- PLS list support
- Open directly a KSS file without a playlist file (like WinAmp+in_msx does)

2) Ask a question: How do I enable the other drivers (mgsdrv.com, kinrou5.drv etc) support? I tried to copy those files to the Resouces folder inside the KSS-X.App, but it doesn't seem to recognize it.

3) Congratulate you for this excellent tool! Big smile

Drag'n drop from finder will appear one day. Perhaps at least Big smile

Concerning pls list, I was, with Richard Bannister asking for this feature but when I discover the way it works I just decided to do not use it.
Why, simply because I just don't like pls compared to m3u files.
Most of the people, including me, find easier to create a m3u files.
For example, I have a collection of kss files, (the one included in the .dmg) and it's the only way to make a play list for multiple kss files.

However I'll consider pls support but it's realy not my priority as I just don't like it. Tongue

Concerning direct kss open.
I did that with the previous KSS-X version and so, what I finaly did is a m3u files of 255 entries with a fake .kss file. Change it to the file you need and you'll have the same result, excepting that you can define title and song duration.
Wink

Concerning others drivers, I actualy didn't activate them but it's piece of cake so I'll add that very soon.

Valken
