KV2 (kss 5) cover by Wolf

Recently, Chaos reminded Wolf of some of his unreleased gamemusic covers, and sort-of forced him to release at least one of them. It's simply one of those tunes that sits on his HD for ages now, doing nothing. Originally it was nothing more than a test-tune to test some new eastern instruments, such as the Ney (a flute) at 0:29.

It's not yet sure what will happen to other tunes that currently do nothing on Wolf's HD. (amongst them are Psycho World and Xak 3) However, there were plans for years now to release cover CD's, but these kind of concepts are like games: big concepts, little results. Smile

Weird. I can download the file, but my Windows Media Player states it cannot find the file? Even after it's stored on my local HD.

There seems to be weird stuff with glitches, since the original is silky smooth, some errors might have slipped in while FTP'ing ..

we'll keep you informed Smile

I don't have any problems with it... for the record, I'm using Winamp.

It does have a few glitches, though. But I can play it after DL'ing it.

The lead you hear, might sound a bit as a clarinet, but it's in fact a 'gadulka' and that's a bowed string instrument Smile

I think Wolf should release all his MSX(related) music! Smile
(Potential moonblaster songs etc. could be used in products like Fubsy etc. though...)

This week I "DSK'ed" all my old workdisks (music, gfx etc.), so that I could use them in nlmsx, (and simply as a backup, some of these disks are over 10 yrs old). I browsed through them all, and basicly there was not much left worth releasing. I was either crap, not finished, a 4-pattern experiment or otherwise uninteresting.

So, forget about the 'mystery' of the unkown tunes, there isn't any mystery. Smile

I hope you will consider releasing the unfinished or the songs that weren't good enough to release anyway. Maybe you can inspire current or even future musicians.

ah come on Wolf.. don't be embarassed. Just because the music isn't as good as the music you create today doesn't mean it's crap either Wink
