I cannot see how to order KQ2 from the Deltasoft website? Maybe it does not appear in the English speaking forum? If I order if on the CF version will I be able to use in an emulator?

You can drop Remy an email to order it. You can make an image of the disks or CF to run it on an MSX emulator.

Altough I don't have CF drive, it's a great idea to publish games in CF format. Also, there will be CD release?

Konami Quiz 2 on CD? For 2 reasons it won't run from CD:

  1. the game requires write access to update the settings file
  2. some of the core routines aren't fully DOS2 adapted. This means running the game from a FAT16 partition won't work either

Maybe they will do a CD release of a new title one day...

BiFi, actually, I mean a install CD, which is far better that 7 disks and it's a great solution for non-CF users and for software distribution.

Also, I don't know what do you say about FAT16, as I haven't never used FAT16 in my MSX.

Hi There,

I saw the comment that you can't find the order page on our site. Well, it's in the pulldownmenu General -> order.

Or, goto http://www.xs4all.nl/~remymsx2/html_bestanden/algemeen/bestelling_e.htm

Anyway, we always try to do something special (as everyone ofcourse). Thunderbirds are go for instance is the biggest game ever released on MSX 2 (10 disks). With Konami Quiz 2 we decided to release it on CF aswell because we wanted to support the sunrise guys and because we thought it was a cool thing to finally have some software for the CF.

Well, enjoy the game.

@spl: I think that there are more Sunrise CF interfaces arround than CD drives connected to MSXes. It was a good choice, imho.

Well djh1697,

Mail me and let me know what you want so we can work something out. By the way, we sold a compilation CD (for PC with diskimages) with everything we made up to Thunderbirds. The only thing not on it is Findit and Konami Quiz 2 (and the english translations of Xak1, Sorcerian and feedback).
