Konamito MSX-BASIC contest 2010 - Nice Soccer World Cup

Last month the platform puzzler Trepón was submitted as the third entry to Konamito's MSX-BASIC contest 2010, but since it consisted out of multiple listings the game had to be disqualified. Today, with only 5 days to go before the deadline, the proper third entry to the competition was released: Nice Soccer World Cup.

As you would expect from the name of the game, it's a complete world cup soccer tournament game for MSX1 developed by Yermanisoft (Germán Gómez Herrera). You can play either a friendly match or a complete tournament of soccer. The game itself is quite complete, allowing you to adjust the force of your shots, perform trick shots and steal the ball from your opponents. Out of competition, an MSX2 version of the game has also been released, which is included in the download as a ROM file.
