Japanese game developer M-Kai has put his MSX productions on his web site for download recently. One of the games is Pleasure Hearts. Until now that was a very rare side scrolling shoot 'em up game with mindblowing speed, huge numbers of enemies and very nice graphical effects.

M-Kai was also the maker of Kyokugen which also can be downloaded from his site. Kyokugen was a fast vertical scrolling shoot 'em up. This game was quite common because it was officially released outside Japan.

The game can be run from a hdd or cf. This was tested with Near Dark's ReadIt and RunIt tools. Other tools might work also, but are not tested.

Yes... at least it was distributed by Hnostar in Spain (an english version).

Yes... and I didn't buy it! Both games came with very nice artwork.

Cool, another amazing game for the MSX micro computer system.

This definately makes Pleasure Hearts as all time best MSX shoot 'em up game released as freeware!
