Flashfloppy not working propperly

I have installed a gotek drive flashed the firmware to flashfloppy
I configured ff.cfg host to msx
The problem is sometimes it sees a disk sometimes not when i change disk the first time i search files it says disk offline the second time It shows the content of its directory but i can not load the file because then it says disk error can somebody tell me what i am doing wrong

I moved the thread to the English part of the forum.

There's not enough info to make the conclusion. What MSX machine are you using this Gotek with? What jumpers did you set on Gotek? What floppy cable do you use?

I had similar problems when I tested my newly installed Gotek. I will test some more and get back to you, but I think it's that the Gotek has problems reading single sided 360kb-disk images. 720kb-disks works fine for me.

What is the version of FlashFloppy's firmware?

Mine was 1.0 when I first tested. I've updated it to 3.35 now, but it still won't read 360kb-disks correctly. It will list it's content when you write FILES, but any files loaded will be empty or corrupted. I will do some more testing and get back.

That's what the host=msx in ff.cfg is for. It enables support for single sided images.

Yes, you are correct. I thought I had written that, but it turns out I had a typo in my ff.cfg. It works great now with both 360kb- and 720kb-disks on FF 3.35.
