First game on someone else's computer: Road Figther.
First game on my own Sharp HB-8000: Athletic Land (loaded from a Philips N2233 portable cassete player/recorder).
My first game on my mums VG8020 was, besides the BASIC games she typed in from MSX Computer Magazine, River Raid. I remember us saying to each other how beautiful we thought BLOAD games were
mr ching
That would be Humprey by Mr. Micro. Got it with my SVI-728 and still have it today.
Knightmare on a friend's MSX1, 2 years later Thexder on my own MSX2.

Tipical speccy port, but playable enough IMO, I'll love to see this as real MSX or even better a good MSX2 version.
I remember it well And i remember the frustration too
First game was Sea Hunter by Spectravideo on my dad's Philips VG8020. The whole set was bought via a "PC Privé" project here in the Netherlands.
The frustration: The manual stated to load the game with BLOAD"SM001T",R, but the Zero's and 1 were mistaken by O's and lower case L It skipped and did not load. After a loooong evening we managed to load it, since the filename was show after SKIPPED:. Later we found out that bload"cas:",r also worked
Breakout by Toshiba as it was with my HX-10
Roadfighter on a VG 8235 at school, still a great game
I'm quite confident it was Zaxxon on a friends VG8010. Not long after I got my own VG8020 with Nemesis II as first game. Just realized I already answered this in 2005...
