I didn't try it yet but it should work with this bios indeed.
Whoa, would be so cool to play Aleste 2 on Music Module
I always liked the FM sound fx in this game. Does that work well on MSX-AUDIO?
I have no idea, going to try that on the weekend. (Using openmsx. I do have an original music module but I never installed the newer bios on it).
how can it work at msx.emu on android?
i tried most of the bios but it doesn't work
@ricbit
Any progress been made on this?
I was so looking forward to the final release as it's one of my favourite shooters.
Both the github and the ricbit page don't have any references to Aleste 2 anymore. Did you have any problem with it and had to delete? I wanted to get the resources, including the ROM.
The last version I downloaded was V8
I was looking forward to a version with a Turbo Fix
GUNMA747J: then use the best MSX emulator out there.

Hi!
This most likely is a silly question at this point, but is it really confirmed that the difficulty change when booting the game with the intro disc is a bug in the original game and not something which has to do with the image dump/protection?
I'm asking because I see no mention regarding different difficulty levels in the manual. Is there a hidden menu or some way to trigger different difficulty levels other than booting with either disk?
Yes, boot one of the game disks with the SELECT key.
