Here's a new release, works properly on C-BIOS now:

Should also work on any MSX2 without disk drive.

(If the aleste ship doesn't seem to respond to keyboard commands, then your emulator may be sending invalid joystick input. On openmsx I had to plug joyporta keyjoystick1 to fix it).

R800 mode at start.
Fix FM-PAC access for R800.
Fix scanline flickering for R800.
Fix difficulty level (patch by Bifi).
Fix intro bug (patch by Bifi).
Fix RAM slot detection (crash on MSX with multiple RAM slots).

Any chance of the ips patch on your site being available for this ROM, particularly the R800 patches?
