yeah I just bought one last year and I dont really feel like buying another so fast or selling mine for cheap to get a new one :/

Upgrading isn't possible unfortunately, the PCB will be completely different

Definitely it will be unique and have more features. In fact, if the cartridge has all these features, the best name for it would be "Super MSX-Audio", or "MSX-Audio 2", because it will be the definitive MSX sound expansion. It will:

- Be fully compatible with the original MSX-Audio
- Be fully compatible with the MoonSound
- Be compatible with MSX-Music software that use the BIOS

AFAIK, the MIDI3 cartridge is exactly the same as the GT MIDI. I don't know if this version will have the BASIC extension ROM or not.

Hi sd_snatcher, the MIDI interface3 will not have the BASIC extension ROM, just the interface. This one can be used on MSX2/2+/1chipMSX as well besides Turbo-R ST.

About the features of DalSoRi v2: JunSoft will first investigate what's possible as he depends on costs, size and development time. Ofcourse it will not be Konami case sized because of it's extra features. Let's see what will happen in the next months. I don't want to disturb JunSoft for now... I'm only checking interest for OPL4 and MIDI interface3.

Just DalSoRi 2 for me as well... I don't really think it's worth buying hardware to have some lousy MT32 tunes with Illusion City (and maybe one or two other titles), while I only have synths which are superior to MT32 and have no MT32 mode...
IMHO MIDI-PAC is one of the greatest inventions for MIDI on MSX and is hard to surpass...

Hi, MIDI will be supported, but not with connectors (IN/OUT).
