To copy Microcabin games on MSX with Formula, every game needs a different *.FML helpfile. So I'd say every Microcabin game has a different protection.
I only managed to copy the original Microcabin diskettes on MSX with Formula and these additional *.FML files...
Actually Formula does not copy the protections... It makes just a normal copy and these "helpfiles" are cracks to different games... So the protection can be actually same, but different games need different patches to bypass the copy protection.
So, if you want anyone to engage on coding PDI support, you'll certainly need more convincing arguments than the well known tactics like appeal to authority, appeal to novelty, and jump on the bandwagon. Those may work well in the latin cultures, but aren't welcome at all in many other cultures.
Even in latin cultures these bad attitudes would be condemned by every reasonable person. It's only rubbish talk, and it should be treated such as.
Thanks Ricardo for your support. Coming from a great assembly programmer as you are it means a lot... kkkk
Maybe your ego hadn't let you noticed, but my statement wasn't about technical issues. I can't argue about disk-images or Assembly programming, and I'm humble enough to listen (or read) and learn.
My talk was about your haughtiness, which caused such bad attitudes that sd_snatcher told before: Appeal to novelty, argument to authority and jump on the bandwagon.
Shortening my argument: Talk is cheap, show us the code.
Exactly what I think. To show the code is the reason of this thread.
Thanks for your great support.
Aqui está o DRAFT da versão 2.0 do padrão PDI.
It's really funny. Looks like top-management examples are spreading all over Brazil. cbsfox behaves just like our beloved Brazilian president.
i.e. Take a look at this masterpiece:
"We are not going to set a goal. Let's leave the goal open, but, when we reach the goal, we'll double it.
Dilma Rousseff, Brazilian President.
Sounds a lot like PDI format to me.
Thanks hbarcellos. Coming from an assembly expert coder like you means a lot. kkkk
In the end, I must say that our foreigners friends are kind of lucky.
Looks like MDBLANCO just recently learned how to communicate in English. Before that, all of those "gold pearls", beautifully, naturally coming out of his blessed intellect were all locked inside our Lusitanian language, available only to our highly educated population (check here, we're 112 out of 122 in Quality of math and science teaching)...
In the end, it's kind of a relief to share HIM with all of you.
cbsfox, please, Italian next. Let's call Gasparrini to the party!
Thanks hbarcellos. Coming from an assembly expert coder like you means a lot. kkkk
Really? I can code asm in circles around you boy!
You're not even in a level low enough for me to challenge you into a contest.
