Hi, I have a Neotron for half a year, never tried till now. Using vgmplay and some vgz files I don't get any audio out of it. Also not using the linout. Is there some software/demo files available which 100% should give some audio?

I checked my neotron physically. When I follow the trace of pin 49, which is responsible for the audio from cartridge to MSX, it goes through some via's and a 100ohm resistor. It ends at a placeholder for a volumebutton. So nothing's going to pin 49.
Try playing a VGM file and use the line-out.

Maybe stating the obvious but make sure the vgm song is for OPNB. Neo Geo games for example

VGMPlay 1.3 by Grauw
Loading 01BLAZ_01.GZ...
Not a GZIP file.
The file is 601761 bytes big

I got it working by renaming the vgz to vgm. :-)
