I am looking for a graphical editor for screen 6 just to fiddle a bit around. It is not the most popular screen mode which reflects in available software.
So far, I have only found MSX Paint IV by Juan Salas which is coded in basic and is kind of slow. Any other user-friendly possibilities on MSX (excluding PC based software)?
Didn't T&E Soft have a drawing program for each screen mode? Atleast SC5, SC6, SC7 and SC8. I used it a lot back then but can't remember (of find) the name. It could also add the palette data at the end of the graphics file, or create a separate .pal file.

Curious to what you'd want to make @ sc6 anyway. It's far from a game screen, and probably more aimed at office tools. Is that what you're after? Making buttons, windows etc. ?
Not the one I meant. I think I meant Designers Club from T&E. But looking at the screenshots I realize there was another tool I used for SC5-SC8. Can't remember that one. But Dot Designer's Club also works nicely. Used Designer Plus also. But that one isn't for SC6 I think
There is one more. I'm not sure it if was a joint development between Sony and Hal Laboratory because we can find it integrated in tools by both. It was distributed with the Hal HIS-60 scanner as Graphic Studio Pro and Sony HB-G900 computers as Sony Graphics Editor. If I'm not wrong, it was also included in Halnote. This graphic editor lets you use Screen 5, 6, 7, and 8. Search for the Sony HB-G900 system disks and it's there.
