Hi! How is going this great game? I need a game for non-sleeping week Please, tell something about the progress!
You will have plenty of sleep until it is finished
Progress is slow. We did some work on the scrolling engine. As we are on MSX2 now we can use smoothscroll. And we are working on a music trakcer/replayer as we want 7 channel music (1 sfx channel) instead of cloning the PSG channels to SCC. But we did not find a suitable tool. So we are now building it.
One good thing about the SCC player is that we have solved most of the SCC HW bug issues. With HW bug I mean the noise that the SCC produces on a real SCC chip.
To be honest, moving the project to msx2 has implied the redrawing of the whole setup of the game
some 3D distractions doesn't help progresses on MOAM too
[edit]
here how SCC noise has been solved

Someone talked about Enemator?
Otherwise it is impossible to find the program for the management and control of automatic movement of sprites!
Bear in memory:
Never miss the tool that is indispensable for those who can not program in a binary control for moving sprites automatic.
The author that it has changed its link and connected to the new link, but has deleted the link to download the program Enemator (demo).
For this I can no longer trust those who already have the GUI for MSX!
I am a programmer with three MSX resources: SJASM, GEN80 and Visual BASIC for Windows.
I've done several projects, including the editor 8x8 and 16x16 that I got there, but it is still in progress.
Thank you very much for your work you have created for your program Enemator but is preferably leave Downloads free for you to use as a resource for other programs such as games and utily.
Bye bye
Development has commenced (with baby steps) and some reworking of the music has been done as well.
The old demonstration had music which was simply 3 channel SCC-enhanced PSG.
I'm rearranging it all to independent PSG + SCC channels.

Good to hear that you guys are working on MOAM again
And also, as usual, great music
Great arrangements John, keep us up to date!
In consideration to what has been shown until now, this game can't be anything else than a great success and one of the most attractive projects for MSX. I'm really glad to hear that the development is on again. Best of lucks and please keep going.
