All I'm saying is that every developer has had the coolest ideas, only to realize later they didn't have the time, skill or MHz'es to realize it... What people are trying to tell you here is; stop hyping and start coding. Once you have a nice proof of concept, be kind enough to share it with the rest of the scene, which is usually the point where you can expect some nice feedback/input/help. Just don't expect people to get excited at the mere fact that you're saying you're working on the best game ever. We've all been there, and we all know that these types of projects are very difficult to finish. I've had games which are like 90% done stall completely, which is why most of us try to keep things hush hush until the game is actually ready to be released. Before you draw up contracts for beta testers, try showing them you actually have something for them to test... Having said that, I should prolly STFU and continue working on Randar III; another fine example of how opening my big fat mouth got me into trouble...
oeps I'm sorry have we met before??? as you seemed to think you know me well enough to call me a LIAR !
or it's the other thing...called Jealousy??
I dont know what the deal is but I'd appreciate it if you tried to treat me with some respect as you do others in this community until you might have reason NOT to which you yet do not !
Just because you seem to be a WANNABE does not mean everyone else is just because they CAN do what you CAN NOT !
Hope to see you FACE-TO-FACE a the upcoming fair in Bussum where I will LAUGH in YOUR face when you see it with you own EYES !!
When is Bussum? October?
Hey RyJuZo, I know that Sonic_aka_T can perfectly stand up for himself and so can you, but I have to say this:
On the Bussum fair last year (IIRC), I personally was lucky enough to see your work with my own eyes and so I know that you speak the truth and are not just "blowing hot air".
Anyway, maybe you should realize that most of us didn't have that privilege (yet).
You know, in the past, the MSX scene saw a lot of people come to pass with great plans; hypes were created around those plans but eventually those projects never saw the light of day.
This is why people don't get enthousiastic that easily anymore.
'We', as a scene, naturally got a bit sceptical and cynical about 'big plans', so in the most mild cases they will think "first see, then believe".
I'm sure people are very willing to believe that you got what it takes to make your projects a success, but, for those who haven't seen your tools in action, there is simply no other 'evidence' to 100% believe what you're doing, other than some screenshots, but mainly: simply taking your word for it.
I think Sonic refers to that, and I'm positive that he is not calling you a "liar".
...so, you know what to do: bring your stuff to the fair and blow the nonbelievers away!

Dude, are you for real? Seriously... Get a grip...
Having said that, I can code circles around you without even trying... I'm just realistic enough not to promise 3 competition entries knowing full well I won't have the time to finish them.

thx man...
I will be there ...and that's a promise !

You do know that I'm a Software Engineer right? Coding is what I do for a living and have been doing for the past two decades....
so keep it real...

My mistake was believing my boys would come through...but I learned my lesson...I can only count on me,myself and I...and it is I alone who's going to deliver..
just be there...and I will shut you up for good !
give your kids a break man.. don't keep blaming them..

So can I!
10 color 15,0,0 20 screen 2 30 open"grp:"as#1 40 preset(118,92) 50 print#1,"you" 60 for t=0 to 15 60 circle(128,92),50+t*8,15 70 next t 80 a$=input$(1)
