That's true, Meits, but in this case i don't see how you can make it significantly smaller - you still have to put floppy inside Big smile (no flatcables makes it really attractive)

I think these were designed with their FS-A1 and FS-A1mkII in mind. These have a slot on the back and my guess is the cartridge/drive case will login up quite nicely when used in that slot on such a machine.

What about: what is the least amount of free RAM you could get in BASIC on a machine by plugging in a normal old school released pieces of hardware on a real MSX machine?
