Exactly the same case as Tweety went into. Would be great to know how this machine's life is/got/was. Also would it be great to know what the brand/type of that case is. Anybody?

The owner lost interest in MSX about 2 years after this picture and stuffed everything in the attic of his parents house. Couple of years after that, he moved out. Then he met his girlfriend with whom he got married around 2003. In 2005 and 2008 their 2 kids were born. Only recently, with the kids coming of age, he remembered his MSX love and phoned his dad whether he still has this MSX. Unfortunately dad threw everything away more than 10 years ago....

But I could be wrong of course

I can tell you the exact story about this computer!
It is my NMS8250 that I got in 1987.
The case is the cheapest, least ugly case that I could get...
I’ve built it into this case myself, the mainboard fits exactly.
It has moonsound, gfx9000 (with a nice rgb switch on the front in the 5,25” slot), 7mhz, 1024mb ram, 196kb vram, msx2+ vdp, gouda scsi controller, harddisk and dos2.
I used and still use this machine as my main MSX!

I still got most of the stuff, but the pioneer amplifier died long ago and went to trash.
The monitor doesn’t work anymore, it broke down while displaying Eggbert at the Two Tribes office some two years ago.

The scsi interface is replaced by a sunrise ide controller with cfcard and nextor rom.
The zip drive is in storage, together with the zip disks.

I actually moved it with me when I left my parents house!
And I still use it now and then.

I got married in 2008 and have 5 kids, so latok got close.

Oh and I took this photograph myself.
It brings nice memories!

I'd love to see detailed pictures of the machine. I like it a lot that it's in the same case as my 8250 (with all you can think of). Did you also have to cut off halve a centimeter from the analog board to have it fit between the PSU and the bottom of the case? How did you organize the back side? On my end the mainboard covers a bit of the PSU. How did your fit?
