Lines 4950 and onward of AUTOEXEC.BAS indicate players who qualified the 10th dan are prompted to phone Summit. Googling the phone number points to Summit School that is still teaching soroban math. It might be good idea to cheat with PAUSE key and call Summit ;) Emmanuel Kouyou is the soroban education material supplier and their MSX products are often bundled with MSX listings on YAJ. Presumably, Passoro is pasokon (personal computer) + soroban while Andon is anzan (mental arithmetic) + Doremifa Don! buzzer quiz show.
Nice find, bit expensive indeed. And there are screenshots for generation msx too! Those screenshots seem to suggest it has been run on emulator. We could contact the seller and ask about that. He may have a dump after all.
