This was a plug-in cartridge that made the CX5M do what Yamaha said was impossible: Real-time sequence recording using the CX5M's built-in sound module AND external MIDI gear. It also expanded the factory sounds with 54 new patches, PLUS any 48 additional patches made with the FM Voicing cartridge.
I used this in the 80s in my studio and on stage. It was the only software they can play internal sounds and external MIDI at the same time. Yamaha was unable to develop these.....
HI, how much is? or (if sold) did you get for your Pioneer PX-TB-7 graphic tablet?. I have the same item and was going to put up for trade for MSX games but have no idea of its value? It is in mint condition has Video Art cart + perfect overlay outer box shows wear but has inner tray. PX TB7
