Perhaps that's the SCC that's in it? I'm not sure myself though. Pretty advanced looking for a game anyway.

I think that this is a light version of MFR, but without RAM. The chip is big enough to emulate sound cards and a few mappers. It even has a placeholder for SD card slot.
