Hmm weird, I have 2 ST’s at home. It works on 1 and locks on the other. I have 2 GT’s as well but 1 I have to still pickup from repair and the other one is being shipped soon, so can’t test just yet.

Maybe different revisions at play here? We know there are different ROM versions of ST.

Working serial 0LNMC11717, non working 0LNMD12898 (so actually newer revision). This might suggest the GT (which is based on a later revision I presume) is also non working. This could help identify the issue in SRI?

Hey, it indeed works on my real turboR ST here (I only tried on openMSX before) !

In my openMSX setup, I only have a single version of the BIOS / Firmware. Does anybody knows if there's an alternative version somewhere ? If not, I'll try to dump it from my ST.

We could then confirm that the problem is related to the BIOS / Firmware.

Also, the main difference on the turboR version are PCM voices in the introduction movies, which definitvely adds to the kawaii effect

My D model has 256kB and the C model has 512kB so it could be the cause as well…

I tried the version I have on my ST 1024kB but this one is protected, so I can't only play it until Fray's departure. There was a graphic glitch in the demo.

Press the number key corresponding to the disk number (sometimes a bit hard if they have demo disk, game disk A etc.)

Sometimes pressing space with the number key is needed.
