In the 2003 MiniGame Compo contestants wrote games of max. 1kB or 4kB in size. Our beloved MSX system was represented by Telematch, created by Luis Claudio Grosso.

As there are a lot of similarities between MSX and ColecoVision, throughout the years, several popular ColecoVision games were converted to MSX.

Last year, French MSX community MSX Village held a small Christmas themed competition to which 6 entries were submitted. Better late than never, it's time for a roundup.

It's about time for some new S.T.U.F.F.

256 byte flame demo

Ricardo Bittencourt has succeeded in creating a user-controleable flame demo in just 256 bytes. You can download this tiny yet impressive demo at Ricardo's site. To give you an idea of how small this program is: this newspost is exactly 256 bytes long. Amazing, isn't it?

A new entry for the 25th Anniversary MSX-BASIC contest, organized by Konamito.com, has been released. FarAwayCorporation, a group consisting out of Gobblin, msxdummie and tanoki, have decided to join their efforts with this entry as result: Space Scape! In this game, things couldn't have been worse: stuck on Mars.
